Data Analyst Nanodegree opens a different world of experience and analysis. Learning has no limitation, especially with ages. I did not know what to expect and thought it would be very hard for me to take the courses because I have no experiences in...
  • Data Analysis and R? Go for it! This was the first course I took since I started thinking about analytics and R. A fellow Data Scientist recommended it to me. I was bit surprised when I saw the level as Intermediate still decided to pursue. Duration...

This is a great job. Some examples going fast more than learner can achieve the goal of it. In lesson 2 you asked me to give analysis on data before teaching steps but the next lessons show steps. I recommend giving steps first then asking a practice. I'm the first stage but I feel it give me more skills. Thanks to all team members.

Foreign Mentors, Unfair Project Submission Guidelines, Kept Charging Me After I Quit I'll keep this brief and exclude some of the positives of the program in order to prove my point. 1) Mentors come once a week, which isn't so bad. The first mentor I...

    Not worth the (new) price
Two days ago I recommended this ND in my blog, and just when I'm about to enroll, they changed the price from $199/mo with 50% discount to $1200 for the whole program! That's insane! For only seemingly minor changes in program curriculum.

This course is also heavily recommended by David Venturi, who in less than a year after completing this program now has become one of the instructor. Good for you David. But unlike you who are now reaping all the benefits by recommending the course while getting your $hare as affiliates AND being as the instructor at the same time, now your reader has to pay much much more. It's a shame. Udacity please revert to the old price.
  • Great experience for a beginner
The Data Analyst Nanodegree in Udacity is a very good preparation for my master program in Analytics at USF. I had little programming experience before doing the Nanodegree. It is easy to follow for beginners, and you can learn A LOT from it. However, it is not easy to go through every course and get the degree certificate. It took me about half a year, and I studied at least one hour almost every day (Maybe it is just my problemT_T). Anyway, as long as you stick with it, it worths your time.
I am not sure this nanodegree will guarantee a good job, as I am still studying deeper in data analytics instead of looking for a job. But it is a good choice if you are a beginner.

    Data Analyst NanoDegree Program
I've completed data analyst program and I was really satisfied about entire education. Even the most complex subjects are explained simple and understandable. Order of units were very well designed, examples of each subject were selected from up-to-date topics. EDA and Introduction to machine learning parts were my favorite units. Every project had given me more confident on each subject. As a last comment reviews were exremely detailed and helped me understanding the subjects nearly as well as learning from videos. Thanks to all Udacity team.

Neat video lectures with lots of hands-on experience I think one of the important aspects that Udacity shines at is their video lectures quality and the way they present content. The fact that there is no slides in the video lectures makes you always...
