This 7-week Spanish language course is aimed at students who would like to learn conversational Spanish starting with Spanish basics. The course introduces everyday language and includes activities to practice all four language skills: reading comprehension, writing, listening comprehension and speaking.

Let's be honest. You get what you pay for. I paid $0.00 to audit the course, so I am appreciative of the free instruction. With that being said, let's be a little critical of what is being offered and why I wouldn't pay $40 dollars for the certificate. The...

I love this course. I am always interested in learning new languages since it leads me to comprehend different cultures. Since this course is the foundation, there is nothing too difficult to learn and understand by myself. The course structure is easy...

This is a really great foundational course for anyone serious about learning the language. I spent 4.5 years learning Spanish in high school and college, but I never kept up with it. This class helped me start from the beginning and make sure I have a...

Ola, I absolutely love the teaching pace and options for lesson repeat. The course had great content that covers all the basics. Where I didn't know a word of Spanish before, I was conversing with my colleagues from Mexico after three months of the...

This course helped me put in place all the information I remembered from Spanish music, movies or series. It's really great as a beginner course because it has so many practical exercises that it's impossible not to remember at least a few things. I also liked the way it was structured around basic knowledge you need to have if you want to communicate something simple in Spanish and around specific knowledge such as grammatical aspects. I would recommend this course. I did not like the fact that I was unable to test my knowledge in the mid and final test because I didn't subscribe for a verified certificate, but other than that I can't complain about the usefulness of the course as a whole.
  • Well, a great resource available.. even for the ones who can't afford it.. Thank yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

    Me gusta este curso mucho!

I have learnt a lot about the basic structures and basic converstions that are normally used in daily Spanish conversations.

This has helped me tramedously in facilitating my learning of Spanish and most important, reviewing the lessons.

The instructors are very nice, succinct yet effective in their explainations throughout, leaving me with almost no doubts to look for Google for searching further data on topics at all (although that wuld also be good to help you learn).

    Highly recommeded!

I really enjoyed this course overall. However, as someone who has never taken Spanish I do think they could pay more attention to the expanded vocabulary they use in presenting the lectures. Only in the Week's recap do you see the meaning of all the...

Excellent course for new learners! For people interested in know basic words in Spanish. In this course you can learn about greetings, numbers, places and objects names. You can improve your understanding in Spanish, increasing your vocabulary, using news words learn in each unit of class.
  • Cristian Martos completed this course, spending 4 hours a week on it and found the course difficulty to be very easy.

It seems to me a wonderful course,
It starts from scratch, teaching you basic expressions, such as introducing yourself or greeting yourself. You learn to say where you are from, to know how to express yourself about clothes, your family, your house, some usual questions, store products, numbers, etc.
The pronunciation of the videos is very good, both in English and in Spanish.
Thank you very much for this content!

I liked the interactive quizzes, but the course overall did not extend my existing knowledge of Spanish other than to reinforce that I can read Spanish better than hear and understand Spanish. All of the audio based exercises (e.g., listen to the recorded...

The course material was very clear and I was able to follow along easily. The instructors were also very clear when teaching and I was able to learn a lot about Basic Spanish in this course. Overall, I think that this course is great for people who are learning Spanish from scratch.

Learning the proper articles and such of Spanish isn't very useful to me. I communicate with many people in the restaurant industry and not one of them speaks proper spanish. I just want to be able to communicate with them. Understanding sentence structure is sort of a waste of time. Furthermore, there are many glitches with this course. Often I could only "show answers" once I already got them all correct. That isn't helpful.

This course was a great refresher for me as I have recently begun studying for the CLEP Spanish test. It is pretty basic and good for a true beginner as well as someone needing to review Spanish if they have already taken Spanish courses before. Highly recommended!

I love the course and learned a lot. Very helpful course and easy to follow with examples from daily life.

One suggestion would be to explain the rules, differences between for example eres, es, esta... in more specific way and also the pronounciation.

I WAS 16 YEARS OLD WHEN I STARTED WATCHING AND PLAYING FOOTBALL. I CAN SAY IT INFLUENCED ME AND HAD LOT OF IMPACT IM MY LIFE. LEO MESSI WAS AND IS MY INSPIRATION. I FELT IN LOVE WITH FC BARCELONA SINCE DAY 1. I STARTED WATCHING EVERY MATCH OF THEM. I DONT MISS EVEN SINGLE SECOND OF LA LIGA AND IT GOT MY ATTENTION TOWARD SPANISH CULTURE AND LANGUAGE, I FELT IN LOVE WITH SPAIN. IT IS MY DREAM TO VISIT CAMP NOU AND WITNESS MESSI PLAYING BUT I THINK IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE AS IT IS VERY HARD TO VISIT SPAIN FINANCIALLY BEFORE MESSI RETIRES. BUT THE INFLUENCE OF SPAIN IN MY HEART IS EXTREMELY INTACT. THIS IS WHY I STARTED LEARNING SPANISH. THE TEACHERS ARE VERY ORGANISED AND THEY CONVEY THEIR KNOWLEDGE EXTREMELY WELL.

Quite poor, you get what you pay for! Don't expect much for nothing.

Most annoying is the structure when you are given exercises before the vocabulary. If you knew words - exercises would be useless, if you didn't - it would be meaningless.

Also, very little material covered during "seven weeks" and all course can easily be completed in two/three hours.

This was a great course. I have learned a lot. Actually the course program goes up to level A2. It would be nice, if you created more courses in this same format for Level B1 and B2.
